New Year’s Eve

There’s a little swell in the water with offshore winds but with the high tide this morning it wasn’t rideable. By the time the tide drops enough the winds will be on it.

Looks like waves for the rest of the week.

Managed to get a few rides this afternoon in Lauderdale.

Feel free to bring your own lawn or beach chairs. I will be discussing my favorite images in 2013. See each flyer for more details. Look forward to meeting many of you!

Fun waves with decent winds this morning in North Broward. The winds are still good so you better get it before it’s gone.

Next round of waves looks to be coming in on New Years Eve.

Little afternoon session in Lauderdale with the girls.

Here’s more from Scotty:

Waist high pompano.

Winds are sideshore and the waves look FUN.some chest high sets coming in. Get it before it’s done.image

Knee to waist high windchop pretty much throughout south Florida this morning. Low tide had most breaks unrideable early on. It should get fun this afternoon with a higher tide tho.

Winds look to clock around offshore some time tomorrow. Might be fun upcoast. 🙂

Here’s some photos from this afternoon in North Broward:

Waist to Stomach high windchop again today in Broward and South PBC. North Palm Beach is getting more swell mix so there’s more size the further north you go.

Knee to waist high with some bigger sets around North Broward County this morning. It should get better with the incoming tide.

Here’s a few shots from Christmas Day.

Knee to waist high pompano

The tides too low here but there are some shortboardable waves to be had. Sounds like deerfield might be a little better.image

Christmas waves at Pompano Beach

Waist to chest high but with the northeast winds at 20 knots and low tide at 7 a.m. Its making for sloppy conditions.

Christmas Eve

Beautiful morning on this Christmas eve! There was actually a little wave early this morning in the knee high range. I was able to get a couple slides out of it before it went flat. Looks like there’s a little wave up the road a bit tho.

The forecast is calling for waves on Christmas and lasting a few days. I’m hoping Santa brings some offshore winds in the morning. I’ll be on the beach early and will update with a phone report if it’s worth it.

Here’s a few shots from Sebastian on Sunday morning.
