INSTRUCTIONS FOR REGISTRATION

**IF YOU REGISTER INCORRECTLY, YOUR REGISTRATION WILL BE DELETED**

Please read all the instructions carefully!

If you have a question –please ask BEFORE you register to avoid any mistakes – email kimsfa@live.com

1) Did you attend an event in 2012 or this year (earlier events prior to 2012 did not utilize this system)? You most likely have already registered through eTOTALplan. If this is you, go to #1 below.

2) If you have never been to an SFA event before or were a walkup at an event, you will need to register through eTOTALplan first. If this is you, go to #2.

#1 – EXISTING REGISTRANTS WITH ETOTALPLAN USE:

https://system.etotalplan.com/login.asp?lng=en-US

Enter your login and password. The first time you do this for 2013, you will be prompted to agree to the new 2013 waiver.

Click on events/ recruiting on the left side of the page, select the event you want to attend as a participant or volunteer. Please make sure to click the proper button.
That same area will show you all events you have registered for and in what capacity.

If you have forgotten your login or password, it may be emailed to you (disregard about getting a text unless you have updated your user ID to allow that). Our Customer ID is 25.

YOU ONLY REGISTER ONCE THROUGH ETOTALPLAN, AFTER THAT YOU LOG IN TO ETOTALPLAN – IF YOU ARE IN THE AREA WHERE YOU ENTER YOUR ADDRESS, DATE OF BIRTH AND PHONE NUMBER AND HAVE DONE THIS PROCESS BEFORE … STOP. DO NOT REREGISTER THROUGH ETOTALPLAN. Adding an additional email address will be noticed and the registration will not be processed.

Do not create a new user with password and login or your registration will be kicked out of the system. If you have forgotten your login and password, go to the site and they will send it to you. Our customer ID is 25.

#2 FIRST TIME REGISTRANTS USE:

http://recruiting.etotalplan.com/

You will notice a selection that says “ have you been registered before click here”. If any of this looks familiar to you, you HAVE registered before so click that option to take you to the log in page. Then follow the directions above in #1.

Select the event you are registering for and then select participant or volunteer. If there are openings, the option will be green, if it is full, it will turn red and not allow you to select that option. Click the green button and then click register. Please read the following carefully and fill in all information as below:

If you are registering a PARTICIPANT –

Minimum age to participate is 4 years old as of the event date. Child must have an IEP qualification. If your child CANNOT swim, you must bring a Coast Guard Approved PFD (Personal Flotation Device). Parent must process the registration and fill out information AS THE PARTICIPANT – using the participant’s name and birth date. At the end, fill in parent or guardian name and contact information. The waiver is now done online, you no longer need to bring it with you – you should print one for your records. You will only need one waiver for the entire surf tour this season if you choose to attend more than one event.

As much as we would love to surf siblings, we do not have the resources to allow us to do so. Parents are not allowed in the water. Only register the participant, not any of the other family members and remember to register them with THEIR information, not yours. If you register yourself as a participant, the registration will be deleted.

If you are registering to VOLUNTEER –

Minimum age to volunteer is 10 years old as of the event date. The majority of volunteers needed are in the water. You do not need to know how to surf to volunteer. We need to have volunteers at the shoreline and mid break. If you are not willing to volunteer in the water, please do not register.

If you are over 18, fill out all your information and agree to the online waive. You should print one for your records but you do not need to bring it with you to the event. You will only need one waiver for the entire surf tour this season if you choose to attend more than one event.

If you are a minor under the age of 18, you will fill out the information on eTOTALPlan with your information and your parent’s name and contact information. NOTE: Your waiver must be signed by a parent and NOTARIZED prior to the event. Bring the signed and notarized waiver with you to the beach. IF YOUR WAIVER IS NOT SIGNED AND NOTARIZED, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO VOLUNTEER!

NOTE TO EVERYONE –

Your initial registration only registers you for the eTOTALPlan site. It is not confirmation of your approval of registration until you receive a confirmation email with login and password. The email will come from eTOTALplan. Please make sure to check your spam or bulk as some of the emails have been found there. You should receive this within 48 hours of your initial request. If you do not – FIRST go to eTOTALplan and request your login and password. It says you may get it by text but that will not happen if you have not updated your user data to allow that.

If you weren’t able to print or forgot to print the waiver, you can go back into the system after you receive your login info and The Release form is uploaded under documents now. Title 2013 Waiver.

If you need to cancel a registration for any reason, please send an email to Kim at kimsfa@live.com.
