Sea trout are on the grass flats from Haulover Inlet south to Card Sound Road. Fishing live pilchards and mojarras under a float or casting shrimp is producing most of the fish. Mangrove snappers, lots of barracudas and a few snook, jacks and tarpon are feeding in the nearby channels adjacent to the grass flats. Snook and small tarpon can be targeted at night next to the bridge shadow lines and lights.
