Friday

Found some waves this morning in North PBC in the chest to head high range. Had to find some protection from the size early on and found some inside waist highers coming off the jetties. The outside was big. Some overhead sets coming in around mid morning and totally manageable.

Looks like waves and offshore winds for the weekend. Should be good north of the Bahamas blockage. I’m sure it’ll trickle down south but I doubt it’ll make much further south than central PBC.

NWS Synopsis: A LONG PERIOD SWELL FROM A DEVELOPING AREA OF LOW PRESSURE TO THE NORTHEAST OF THE BAHAMAS WILL CONTINUE TO IMPACT THE ATLANTIC WATERS…KEEPING SEAS ELEVATED ESPECIALLY TO THE EAST OF PALM BEACH COUNTY. THE SWELL IS FORECAST TO SLOWLY SUBSIDE THROUGH SATURDAY. A COLD FRONT IS FORECAST TO MOVE ACROSS THE AREA LATE SUNDAY WITH A NORTHERLY WIND FLOW EXPECTED FOR THE EARLY PART OF NEXT WEEK.
