New Year’s Eve

Ending the year with some knee high sliders this morning in Fort Lauderdale. The pictures don’t show it but there were some waist high sets coming in. The parking on the north end of Fort Lauderdale strip is opened back up and free for now. The sandbar is not too bad for chop either.

Looks like today might be the last day of small SE windchop for South Florida. A cold front is on the way down and Forecast to stall over central Florida Friday and Saturday before it pushes thru South Florida on Sunday. This makes for an interesting scenario for us. We could see some North swell on Sunday as the front pushes thru with offshore winds, and if the timing is right we could have some mixed bounce swell Monday morning before the winds come onshore.
